3/3/08 - Speed Sailing Syndicate: I would like to hear from anyone who is interested in forming a team to create a presence at world speed sailing events. People interested should be able to demonstrate some skills that will contribute to the success of the syndicate. Some of these skills are listed below.

• Ability to participate in design and development.
• Skills in sailing especially windsurfers
• Ability to explore finance options and sponsorship
• Skills in building and modifying sails, rigging and hulls.
• Ability to think beyond the square
• A desire to put New Zealand on the world speed sailing map

25/9/07 - Free Email notification when the Harbour is on! CWA Members only (another great reason to join the club). Emails are sent when harbour is averaging over 15 knots and direction between 30 and 110 degrees (~NE). Wind is checked every 20 minutes, but if you've already received an email you will not receive another for 4 hours. Service runs between 7am and 7pm on 7 days a week.
